Burbank is your next best option out of Ventura behind the other 2 airports mentioned. It is not as nice or convenient as SBA. It does not offer as many flight options as LAX. But I still always like to check flights here when I am heading out of town just in case there is a deal that is too good to pass up.

Burbank is about the same distance as LAX from Ventura in drive time. It can vary widely based on traffic patterns in either area, but to access either of them from Ventura you must go into LA.

Burbank is a small airport, similar in size to Santa Barbara with just one terminal. Parking is easy to access at the terminal and is somewhat more affordable than terminal parking at LAX. There are also rental cars onsite. You can access Burbank’s airport website here for more info.
