The Details-

Kellogg Park has multiple updated play structures, spacious room to run around, a little hill for kids to slide down on cardboard and some neat fitness stations.

The most unique thing about this park is its areas catered towards older kids. It has a couple of different workout stations where you can use your body weight to challenge yourself on fitness equipment. Kids normally age out of parks at 10 or so, but teenagers could easily get some benefit from these areas of the park.

Hot Tips-

The location of this park is off "The Avenue". This area is known to be associated with higher crime rates than other parts of Ventura. I have, personally, felt fine here during the day alone with my little ones. But be aware and have extra vigilance.

Pair the Park Outing with:

  • A meal or a treat in downtown

  • A stop by Serra Cross for the most beautiful views in town. More info here.
