The Details-

Tomol Interpretive Play area is the cutest little playground sandwiched between downtown Carpinteria and Carpinteria State Beach. It has a couple of fun slides and lots of neat areas that encourage imaginative play.

Hot Tips-

Be aware of SoCal/ Central CA micro-climates- this park is only a couple of blocks away from the beach. It can be significantly colder here than it is a mile or 2 inland. Bring a sweater :)

A walk down to Carpinteria State Beach.

Lunch at "The Spot"- a cute little burger stand directly across the street

A trip to Rorys ice cream a few blocks away- one of my favorite ice cream shops ever!
