The Details:

Mermaid Month takes place in March in the Ventura Harbor.

There are multiple events and even a little festival guaranteed to make this a special time of the year for mermaid lovers, young and old!

The events typically include a mermaid DJ dance party, mermaid kid’s crafts, face painting, photo opps, photos with tropical birds, live music, and more!  Encouraged to dress in your best mermaid style!

Hot Tips:

The photo ops, crafts and music are typically free. The face painting costs $$ and the line is known to get lengthy. There is a charge to take photos with the cute little birds, as well. They are generally well mannered, but may nip at you, in my experience.

You are encouraged to dress in your best mermaid style!

There is typically plenty of parking at Seaside Village. I enter Margarita Villa as my point of reference in my GPS and park somewhere near there to be close to all of the action :)
