The Details:
The Holiday Parade of Lights in Ventura Harbor is an annual event not to be missed!
The boat parade and fireworks typically take place about a week before Christmas and usually happen on the Friday evening and the Saturday evening of the same week.
The parade of lights is an opportunity for all of the boat owners in Ventura to deck their boats out with lights and music and cruise up and down the harbor showing off their decorations.
Most people choose to view the parade by land- which is a fun, free option! For a cost, you can book a seat on a private vote or one of the island packers cruises. The boat seats fill up quickly, so book early!
A couple of harbor restaurants typically take reservations, but most are first come, first serve.
There are also often kids carnival games and special wintery effects and decorations throughout the harbor to enjoy during the parade evening!
Check the Harbor’s webpage for all the details here!
